"The Six Attitudes of High Achievers"

John R. Noe
High Achievers......
1. Make no small plans: Plan BIG
This is saying that you should never plan something small always go big. Never plan your life small because then we'll think you cant do much in this world or that you could do so little. You should plan big because you know you can be someone big in this world or even be someone big. Make no little plans they have no magic to stir men's blood and probably themselves will not be realized. Make big plans aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once recorded will never die, but after we are gone be a living thing, asserting itself with ever growing  insistency.
2.Do what they fear
Fear of a name increase fear of the thing itself. There are three things all wise man fear: The sea in storm a night with no moon and the anger of a gentle man. Don't be afraid of your fear. They're not there to scare you
3.Willing to prepare
I think in running to be honest that even though athletes are very dedicated and are willing to train and do whatever they need to do to prepare more often than not they're not in a very professional environment where you've got a high performance director and a coach that are really monitoring your daily activities. Its not the will to win that matters. Its the will to prepare to win that matters.Everyone wants to win but not everyone is willing to prepare to win.
4.Willing to risk failure
If you want something you can have it but only if you want everything that goes with it including  all the hard work and the despair and only if you're willing to risk failure. One of the reasons people stop learning is that they become less and less willing to risk failure. If you are not willing to risk failure to achieve your dream life you will have to settle for less than you really want. Being pathfinder is to be willing to risk failure and still go on. If you are not willing to risk it all you don't want it bad enough.
5.Teachable
Noe explains in this article that a high achiever seeks knowledge spends time reading observing and listening to those around them. When i was in the army the drill sergeants in basic training would often say or yell " if you see another soldier doing something right adopt it and make it your own."
6.Have heart
Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow know what you truly want to become. Out of a heart comes goals, visions, and sensitivity to other people.Out of this sensitivity comes to opportunity to serve others at a higher level.

Class Evaluation

1. Some things I liked about the class was the Khan academy lessons and also how we got to use Scratch. It was very fun and we also learned ...
