Electric Vehicle

An electric vehicle, also called an electric drive vehicle, uses one or more electric motors or traction motors for propulsion. An electric vehicle may be powered through a collector system by electricity from off-vehicle sources, or may be self-contained with a battery, solar panels or an electric generator to convert fuel to electricity. EVs include road and rail vehicles, surface and underwater vessels, electric aircraft and electric spacecraft.
EVs first came into existence in the mid-19th century, when electricity was among the preferred methods for motor vehicle propulsion, providing a level of comfort and ease of operation that could not be achieved by the gasoline cars of the time. Modern internal combustion engines have been the dominant propulsion method for motor vehicles for almost 100 years, but electric power has remained commonplace in other vehicle types, such as trains and smaller vehicles of all types.
In the 21st century, EVs saw a resurgence due to technological developments and an increased focus on renewable energy. Government incentives to increase adoptions were introduced, including in the United States[2] and the European Union.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Habit 1: Be Proactive
Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It say, "I am the caption of my life. I can choose my attitude. I, responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the drivers seat of my destiny not just a passenger."

If you are proactive you make things happen instead of waiting for them to happen to you. Active mean "doing something."The prefix pro means before. so if you are proactive you are ready before something happens. The opposite is being reactive or waiting for things to unfold before responding.

Habit 2: Begin with the end in mind
"Control your own destiny or someone else will."
Begin with the End in Mind means to begin each day, task, or project with a clear vision of your desired direction and destination, and then continue by flexing your proactive muscles to make things happen. One of the best ways to incorporate Habit 2 into your life is to develop a Personal Mission Statement.

Habit 3: Put first things first
"Organize and execute around priorities."
Putting first things first means doing to the most important things in life. It means being clear about your priorities and acting on them.Putting first things first means doing to the most important things in life. It means being clear about your priorities and acting on them.

Habit 4: Think win-win
Win-win sees life as a cooperative arena, not a competitive one. Win-win is a frame of mind and heart that constantly seeks mutual benefit in all human interactions. Win-win means agreements or solutions are mutually beneficial and satisfying. We both get to eat the pie, and it tastes pretty darn good

Habit 5: Seek First to understand , then to be understood
If you’re like most people, you probably seek first to be understood; you want to get your point across. And in doing so, you may ignore the other person completely, pretend that you’re listening, selectively hear only certain parts of the conversation or attentively focus on only the words being said, but miss the meaning entirely. So why does this happen? Because most people listen with the intent to reply, not to understand. You listen to yourself as you prepare in your mind what you are going to say, the questions you are going to ask, etc. You filter everything you hear through your life experiences, your frame of reference. You check what you hear against your autobiography and see how it measures up. And consequently, you decide prematurely what the other person means before he/she finishes communicating.

Habit 6: Synergize"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts (1+1=3)"
So for instance, a team working together on a product. If you figure out what each person can do individually, say Bob can produce 3 units in 3 hours, George can produce 4 units in 3 hours, and Sally can produce 3 units in 3 hours. Together in three hours, they should be able to produce 10 units, but using teamwork, they can work together, and they can encourage each other to have more energy, so maybe the team together can produce those 10 units in just 2 hours. This is synergy. The individuals coming together producing more than what they could on their own.

Reflection:The book of Stephen Covey, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, has become a framework for personal development. The concepts may be used for life in general and help people develop, change, and become better in life. The concepts are easy to understand that it is even taught starting at preschool of a certain school in Malaybalay City. The mentoring continues on to high school with the school’s desire to develop in the students essential life skills and characteristics needed to mold future leaders.
