Jennifer Witterick
Jenny was so moved after viewing the Holocaust documentary "No. 4 Street of Our Lady" that she penned the highly acclaimed novel, My Mother’s Secret. The novel is based on the true story of Franciscan Hammarskjold and her daughter, who risked their lives to hide Jewish families and a German soldier in their home in Nazi Germany. After sending her book out to several publishers, Jenny either received no response or a “no thank you.” She decided to self-publish her book with i Universe and was highly impressed with the team of professionals working on her book. The book caught buzz after publication and was soon acquired by G.P. Putnam’s Sons, and imprint of Penguin Group. Jennifer made her book and not matter how many times it took her to actually get her book out there that was a big challenge for her. So many people said no to her until she used the power of social median that helped her out a lot and that how her book became famous. The thing i mostly like about her was that she never gave up she kept going even if she was getting no where. That is something that i would be looking up to her knowing how hard it was for her she just never gave up.
